Cyclocross is here!

I have a major weakness for looking at race results. Even when I tell myself I want to look up just one race from the past weekend I find myself searching for results of years past. Every monday I look at the MCF.net site for cross results from the weekend. The race promoters and MCF directors have been doing an awesome job at putting up results very quickly. It has been fun to see a lot of friends doing well this year. Off the top of my head:

Joshua Roser- Has had a few top 3′s and a mid week win. I remember doing a couple rides with Josh in the summer and I could tell that he was frusturated that his super good fitness was not translating to good team results for Nature Valley/ Penn Cycle. The hard work is paying off.

Sam O!- Top 3 at Wirth Cx. On a MTB! Time to get a cx bike sam?

Jordan Cullen- Just texted him the other day and got the scoop on the ladies in Hudson, WI. At USGP Madison he cracked his frame in three spots then came back to a 4th place in the Cat 2/ 3′s which was very impressive. Also he is riding for Team Cliff Bar Devo based out of Colorado.

Cody Larson- I watched him get stronger at every mtb race this year. It was just a matter of time before he pulled off the Cat 1 win in CX. Nice work.

Nils B- Looking very consistent this year. A bunch of top 5′s in the Cat 3′s against some guys that are probably double his age. I think Nils is racing age 15.  

Jeff Evanson- I met Jeff last year roller ski training with Piotr then again at MN cyclocross championships. If I hadn’t been looking closely I would not have guessed Jeff to be in the 45+ category. He has scored wins at Wirth and Crosstober. As a side note, Jeff and his ski/ bike buddies are a large part of the reason I was able to pull off the Mtb Worlds trip. Thanks guys!
